Our Oceans Conference
The Our Ocean Conference 2026 will convene global leaders to drive concrete commitments and accelerate action for ocean protection worldwide. Taking place 16–18 June 2026 in Mombasa and Kilifi Counties, Kenya, it marks the first time the conference is hosted on the African continent.

Taking place 2–3 September 2026 in Bergen, Norway, the conference highlights the critical role of communication in driving ocean literacy and meaningful change.

The ICES Annual Science Conference 2026 will bring together the global marine science community to share cutting-edge research and shape the future of ocean knowledge and management. Taking place 15–18 September 2026 in Brest, France, it is one of the leading scientific events in marine research.
World Conference for Marine Biodiversity 2026
The World Conference on Marine Biodiversity 2026 will bring together the global marine biodiversity community to assess progress, share knowledge, and shape the future of ocean conservation. Taking place 17–20 November 2026 in Bruges, Belgium, the conference marks a key moment to align science, policy, and action midway through the UN Ocean Decade.

Our Ocean Conference
The 2024 Our Ocean Conference will be organised in Athens (Greece) at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center the 16th and 17th of April 2024. The event will specifically address four aspects as horizontal elements cutting across the six areas of action of the Conference:
- Sustainable tourism in coastal areas and islands
- Reduction of marine plastic and microplastic pollution
- Green shipping
- Green transition in the Mediterranean

2nd EU Blue Parks Community workshop
The EU Blue Parks Community brings together EU Member States’ national and regional authorities, European marine networks, stakeholders and research and innovation projects. This Community aims to help identify and address challenges, share tools, solutions and good practices, and promote innovative approaches, while enhancing cooperation across the EU sea-basins in order to protect 30% and strictly protect 10% of EU sea areas by 2030.
BLUE4ALL will participate again in this 2nd workshop with the presentation: “BLUE4ALL, facilitating the Blue Parks Community”
Mission Ocean: 1st online workshop of the EU Blue Parks Community, Working together for the protection and restoration of marine ecosystems and biodiversity.
The first workshop’s primary objective is to present the EU Blue Parks Community and its benefits.
The aim is to set and cultivate a collaborative space for networking, knowledge sharing, and relationship-building among national and regional authorities responsible for Marine Protected Areas’ designation and management, related MPA initiatives, relevant EC-funded projects (Horizon Europe, Life, EMFAF), and appropriate networks.
