National authorities, scientific experts, sectoral groups and environmental actors were strongly involved in working groups for the development of governance measures. The co-management of the MPA with a committee of fishermen was key to improve the involvement of fishers in the MPA. The assessment of the conservation measures is carried out using a dashboard including indicators that also respond to others public policies (MSFD, OSPAR ...). This process resulted in the IUCN Green List label.
