Nature Park "Platamuni"

 

AREA COVERED - 1.056,51ha (marine part 862,59ha, land part 30,61ha) MANAGEMENT STATUS - management plan adopted 

KEY FACTS - “Platamuni” nature park is an integrated coastal and marine protected area (between the coastal line and the 50m isobath). The area is protected because of the ecologically significant marine and coastal species and habitats. There are 2 two protection zones defined - Zone II and Zone III each with a different regime of protection. 

MARINE HABITATS: i) biocenoses settlements of Seagrass (Posidonia oceanica), ii) sea caves  with above and under water entrances 

MARINE SPECIES: Cymodocea nodosa, Cystoseira amentacea, Cladocora caespitosa, Centrostephanus longispinus, Lithophaga lithophaga, Pinna nobilis, Scyllarus arctus 

TERRESTRIAL HABITATS (NATIURA 2000): i) Vegetated sea cliffs of the Mediterranean coasts with endemic Limonium spp, ii) Thermo-Mediterranean and pre-desert scrub and iii) Annual vegetation of drift lines 

TERRESTRIAL SPECIES: Euphorbia dendroides  

 

Nature Park “Katič”

 

AREA COVERED - 2.745,19ha (marine part 2.568,67ha, land part 176,52ha) 

MANAGEMENT STATUS - management plan prepared and sent for adoption 

KEY FACTS - Nature Park “Katič” is an integrated coastal and marine protected area. The area is protected and ecologically significant marine and coastal species and habitats. There are 2 two protection zones defined - Zone II and Zone III each with a different regime of protection. “Katič” nature park is an integrated coastal and marine protected area (between the coastal 
line and the 50m isobath). The area is protected because of the ecologically significant marine and coastal species and habitats.

MANAGEMENT STATUS - management plan prepared and sent for adoption 

KEY FACTS - Nature Park “Stari Ulcinj” is an integrated coastal and marine protected area. The area is protected and ecologically significant marine and coastal species and habitats. There are 2 two protection zones defined - Zone II and Zone III each with a different regime of protection. “Stari Ulcinj” nature park is an integrated coastal and marine protected area (1NM from the coastal 
line). The area is protected because of the ecologically significant marine and coastal species and habitats.
