The 14 Living Labs play a central role in testing and refining both the socio-economic and ecological tools developed within Blue4All, as well as the MPA Solutions Hub. They represent a wide range of real-world MPA contexts across Europe, including different locations, habitat types, sizes, and governance approaches. By working directly with these diverse settings, the project ensures that the tools and the platform are practical, user-friendly, and relevant for effective co-management of MPAs in Europe.
